Always on, because the site needs them
- __Host-wl_session: keeps you logged in. Set only when you log in, deleted when you log out, and lasts up to 30 days.
- site-consent (stored in your browser, not a cookie): remembers whether you said yes or no to analytics, so we don't keep asking.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: the "not a robot" check on our forms. It may store short-lived technical data needed for the check. It isn't used for advertising.
Only if you say yes
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): tells us how many people visit and which pages help. It lasts up to two years. Google signals are switched off and IP addresses are shortened.
If you say no, Google is told not to store anything on your device, and nothing is.
Changing your mind
We also count page views on our own server with no cookies at all, so saying no doesn't stop us knowing roughly how busy the site is.
